Titanium handlebars instead of aluminum – upgrade with long-term effect
Titanium handlebars are virtually indestructible—lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and extremely durable. While other materials fatigue over time, titanium retains its strength for years. No rust, no breakage, no headaches.
By comparison, standard aluminum handlebars become brittle over time. Brompton recommends replacing them every three to five years – purely for safety reasons. Those who opt for titanium instead will ride with less worry and for longer.

Black Edition was yesterday
High-gloss titanium handlebars—silver is the new black
Not so long ago, silver was the standard color on every Brompton. Those who wanted to stand out switched to black—and were right on trend. Today, it's the other way around: Black is everyday. And silver? A statement.
Our handlebars aren't just silver—they're made of highly polished titanium. Lightweight, rust-proof, and a real eye-catcher. You'll only find this sophisticated finish here. For anyone who wants to upgrade their Brompton with style and substance.

The bicycle handlebar dimensions at a glance
The clamp diameter of our titanium handlebar is precisely matched to your Brompton – so you don’t have to worry about compatibility.
At 52 cm, the handlebars are a few millimeters narrower than Brompton's standard model. This makes it easier to maneuver between cars in city traffic – you'll notice it right away.
And if you'd prefer a little more width, no problem. Our Manoli grips can simply be pushed further outward. This gives you more room at the ends – without compromising on the ride feel.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I assemble the titanium handlebar?
Installing the titanium handlebars on your Brompton isn't particularly complicated, but you should allow yourself about 30 minutes. First, you need to slide all components, such as the brake levers, bell, etc., to the side of your handlebars. You can leave the brake levers attached to the brake cables.
Using an Allen key, you can then loosen the old handlebar and slide it sideways out of the clamp. To install your new titanium handlebar, simply follow the same steps in reverse and tighten the screws.
If you don't feel confident installing the titanium handlebar yourself, you can have it replaced at any bike repair shop. An experienced mechanic should be able to easily complete the job in about 15 minutes.
Which bikes do these titanium handlebars fit?
Our titanium handlebars are designed specifically for the Brompton folding bike. The logo placement is also adapted to the shape of the handlebar clamp on the Brompton. However, since the diameter in the handlebar clamp area is standardized, our titanium handlebars also fit other bikes with a clamp diameter of 25.4 millimeters. If you have any questions, please contact us. We'd be happy to help.
Does the handlebar also have a 5-year warranty, like your Manoli grips?
Yes, our titanium handlebars come with the same 5-year warranty as our Manoli grips. This guarantees the highest quality and durability, so you can rely on your bike components for a long time.
What is special about a titanium handlebar?
Titanium handlebars offer several key advantages over conventional aluminum handlebars: Titanium is extremely strong, meaning you don't have to worry about them breaking over time. Aluminum handlebars, on the other hand, need to be replaced regularly to avoid the risk of breakage, especially near the clamp. Titanium is also significantly lighter than aluminum, which noticeably reduces the weight of your Brompton and makes it even more comfortable to transport.
Another advantage of our titanium handlebars for Brompton is their unique appearance. Manoli is the only manufacturer to offer highly polished and rainbow-finished titanium handlebars that perfectly match the aesthetics of your Brompton. These high-quality handlebars were specifically developed for the Brompton clamp and provide an optimal combination of strength, weight, and design.
